Float or Forge?

A time comes for each of us, when something does not go according to plan. Working hard and doing all the right things doesn’t grant us immunity. What happens next, is entirely up to us.

In life, there are people who use their event as license to stop trying. It’s as if they got a special pass to float along. There are others who, despite their life altering obstacle, forge ahead.

Chinese proverb, “one picture is worth ten thousand words” teaches us the impact of an image. Check out the extraordinary Bill Shannon, a.k.a “the crutch master!” You’ll find Crutch under favorite videos.

Are you a floater or a forger?  Go public, share your thoughts with the Flip Kick Listen community.

“In perfect harmony…”

Playing out right before our very eyes, in national news, is a real life situation with “Flip-Kick-Listen-like” techniques being applied. The exact details of what took place aren’t of interest any longer. It happened. Let us instead examine the resolution, the “what now?” In lif[...]

“In order to thrive…”

Sometimes I struggle  before admitting to someone what they’re doing (or not doing) doesn’t work for me.  I envy folks who have rock solid boundaries. Establishing boundaries is like building a new muscle, it requires strength training. Have you ever recalled the scariest movie you’ve[...]

Rocky Balboa “It ain’t about how hard you hit…”

Gail Snow Moraski gave me an 8 x 10 photo of Rocky. He had just raced up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, his arms raised in triumph. I cherished it so much, I taped it to the back of my bedroom door. I looked at it each morning before I started my [...][...]
